Service Description
Just as children need to be competent with their ABCs, 123s, and Do-Re-Mis, they also need to be competent in movement, both physically and mentally. In this program, kids will become competent movers through fun group games teaching them balance, agility, throwing, kicking, jumping, and more. Kids will just think they're playing games for an hour, but each game will have an underlying skill they are developing, mastering, and becoming confident in. This program is lead by kinesiology graduate, personal trainer, and youth coach, James Scott. 4 sessions total between Sunday, October 20th - November 10th. Physical Literacy is defined as: the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activities for life.
