Service Description
Youth running club for kids entering grades 4-8 in September, 2026. Tuesdays at 5:30pm at Elora Public School. Mix of field games, warmups, and running on the Cataract Trail. Our Youth Running Club is a fun, welcoming, and inclusive program designed for all ability levels—whether your child is brand new to running or already loves to get moving. This 1-hour weekly session focuses on building endurance, confidence, and a lifelong enjoyment of running in a supportive group environment. Each session includes a mix of easy-paced running, games, and movement-based activities that keep things fun while helping kids gradually improve their stamina. We also introduce simple running form techniques—like posture, stride, and breathing—so participants can move more efficiently and comfortably. There’s no pressure, no competition —just steady progress, encouragement, and a great group atmosphere. Perfect for kids who want to stay active, make friends, and build healthy habits through movement. Lead by Nate Scott. NCCP certified coach, Iron Man Coach, and marathon runner. Nate most recently ran the 2026 Boston Marathon with a time of 3:06 (his marathon PR is 2:42). Nate's next race is a full Iron Man in July in Lake Placid.
